BENTON CITY WATER IS CURRENTLY IN STAGE III WATER CONSERVATION
Restrictions:
- Irrigation of landscaped areas with hose-end sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems limited to 6-10 am and 8-10 pm weekdays with no watering on weekends. Irrigation permitted if by hand-held hose, faucet filled bucket 5 gals or less or drip irrigation at any time.

- Use of water to wash any motor vehicle, motorbike, boat, trailer, airplane or other vehicle is prohibited except between 8:00 pm-10:00 a.m. with a hand-held bucket or a hand-held hose equipped with a positive shutoff nozzle.

- Use of water to fill, refill, or add to any swimming pools, wading pools, or jacuzzi/hot tub is prohibited except between 6–10 a.m. and 8–10 p.m.

- Operation of any ornamental fountain or pond for aesthetic or scenic purposes is prohibited except where necessary to support aquatic life or where such fountains or ponds are equipped with a recirculation system.

- Use of water from hydrants or flush valves shall be limited to maintaining public health, safety, and welfare.

- The following uses of water are nonessential and are prohibited:
-wash down sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking lots, tennis courts, or other hard-surfaced areas;
-wash down buildings or structures for other than immediate fire protection;
-use of water for dust control;
-flushing gutters or permitting water to run or accumulate;
-failure to repair a controllable leak(s) within a reasonable period; and
-any waste of water.
